Spotlight on the Wyoming 6th - 8th Grade Spanish Curriculum
Wyoming teachers developed sixth-grade materials with funding from the Wyoming Legislature as part of a five-year pilot program to offer Spanish-language instruction to over 9,000 children in grades K-6 throughout the state. Thanks to a federally funded FLAP project, units for grades 7-8 also have been developed by teams of Wyoming teachers. When completed, all materials for grades 6-8 will be posted on the following Curriki site:
The Fulbright Teacher Exchange program http://www.fulbrightteacherexchange.org/index.cfmprovides opportunities for K-12 teachers to participate in direct one-to-one exchanges with colleagues from other countries for a semester or academic year. Fulbrighters enrich their schools and communities with a new awareness of other cultures and of events occurring in different parts of the world, providing students and citizens with new perspectives about the world in which they live.
