WFLTA's 2015 Fall Conference is coming soon! Please mark your calendar for October 8-10th in Cody, Wyoming.
This year's WFLTA conference includes a full day of meetings/activities on both Thursday and Friday. We have a special presentation, made possible by state funds, on how to recognize where your students really are on the ACTFL Proficiency Rubric. Our new state standards are based off of this rubric, so it would be great if every World Languages Teacher statewide could attend. It is a 7 hour training that districts would be hard pressed to replicate. Please let your administrators know that the state paid to bring in this special presentation for us. FYI: you'd have to pay extra to participate in this same presentation at ACTFL !
The Wyoming Foreign Language Teachers' Association is a professional organization dedicated to supporting world languages teachers and promoting linguistic and cultural competence among K-16 learners in Wyoming.
We gladly accept and appreciate any and all donations to support teacher professional development initiatives and other projects that enhance K-16 world languages learning among Wyoming students.
